Okay so by chance I sourced a 4.2 out of a 2000 F-150. It just needed new gaskets all around. The only problem is now I have a spare engine and no engine lift..
I upgraded to 42# injectors and found a stock M112 from my friends dad who upgraded to a kenne belle. Waiting on an adaptor and then this build could possibly be a stroked and blown 4.2!

Question, where could I find a good engine lift? Simple places like harbor freight?

+1 to rental. Oreilleys will let you rent most things for free. You just have to pay a small deposit that they refund you once you return it. Problem is that you gotta do the work relatively fast because the windows to rent them are small.
