Mach 1 engine/Cobra intake??

Hey all...Does anyone know if an 01 or older cobra intake manifold will match up to 03 mach 1 heads? I might be getting a mach 1 motor with no intake manifold and I don't really want to go with the whole ram air setup. Also, if this won't work, would there be any other options?

I believe so, since the 03-04 Mach and 03-04 Cobra have very similar engines, and guys who ditch the stock blower on
the Terminators run 99-01 Cobra intakes, so logic tells me it would work... :dontknow:

Yes 99-01 Cobra intake will work. 96-98 Cobra intake will not work.

Just to add to matts post, reason for that is 96-98 are B head cars the 99+ are C head cars. (incase you didnt know)

The upper and lower intake manifold from mach 1's and 99-01 cobra's are the same. The only difference is the cobra has an emblem on it and the mach 1 is bare. The shaker hood scoop found on the mach 1 sits on top of the aluminum intake, but it isn't required for the engine. You could just get a cold air intake for a cobra and be set.
