when i bought the car it had an aftermarket kenwood that seemed to only run the 4 main speakers (not the tweeters) and def did not run through the amps....! well i bought an oem radio/cd player for the 460 hooked it back up and everything seems to work fine, but with the volume all the way up, i can just barely hear the music....when it is below full volume, i can't hear anything! btw the main audio fuse in the engine compartment was disconnected when the kenwood was in the car (weird)...all wires and harnesses are in tact but very little sound output!

sounds like the factory amps are missing, and you installed adeck that requires them. Your best bet would be to go aftermarket, many more choices and better quality.
