So yesterday I took the Mustang out for another spin. I took off from the traffic lights and entered the highway doing 110mph... I might have frightened some other motorists :police: :thefinger:

I found a decent spot and took some pictures. I don't like them at all :angry7: If anybody has an idea what went wrong with these pictures, let me know!

Anyways:

Poor lighting...sun was too low, so it gave ur car a yellow glow.

Car looks great though man.

Generally, light like that can be considered "magic hour"...Great lighting for most things...It doesn't appear that it worked well with your blue car, this time...There's definitely enough light, but the sunset's color is kind of a bad match...I usually like the tint, but my car is black, so it's easier to match with almost any daylight...

Personally, I would be trying it again in the same light, but experimenting with camera settings...Ways to try to kill some of the orange/pink...Maybe the white balance, assuming you're just using a point and shoot camera...It seems like the orange reflected from your rims just doesn't fit...

Actually, the more I look at them, I think pics 2, 3, and 4 are fine and I like them...1 and 5 have a lot of the building (Lighthouse?) reflecting on the car and background that's adding a lot of orange/pink to the pic...

Just my opinion...I'm no pro and I've never posted a pic on here for the criticism I probably deserve, so you can tell me to suck it... =D

I love your car Mack! I have a BAB too, and I have trouble getting good pictures of it. I think the lighting has to be just right for the color. But your car is sick and I enjoyed the pics :eek:ccasion14:

I'm no professional so dont quote me but because of the lighting it made the pics look like that but that has happened
to me once and I just cranked up the aperture and adjusted the white balance and it took most of that yellow haze out
None the less the car looks awesome

Meanwhile I found some settings in my camera that were messed up, resulting in at least part of the bad pictures.

I already found it is very hard to take good pics of the BAB car. The orange light indeed may not agree with the bleu. I was only trying and only got a chance to take the Mustang for a spin at the end of the afternoon. I had trouble finding a good spot and indeed the lighthouse did not give a good reflection.

Ah well, camera is fixed so there will be new pics in the future ;-)

Thanks for all comments!
