Magnaflow Catback Installation Problem

Hey guys, my friend is currently working on my car... He called me and told me that he will have to remove the rear wheels to put the pipes in place because it doesn't fit...

Anyone have ever install a catback... let me know how he did it or if you have a solution for me.

They do fit without removing wheels or anything else, I just installed my magnapack cat back this past weekend

I had jackstands on the frame and a jack holding the rear end at pretty much it's lowest possible position. The drivers side tailpipe went right in, the passenger side one I had to remove the hanger (the new one from the magnaflow kit) and the muffler, then it was able to twist into place.

About those hangers, the pic in my installation manual had them backwards, no matter what they only fit one way

Ummm he has to remove the Wheels to put on a Catback ??? That doesn't sound right. I mean what is he doing installing a 4" exhaust for a Diesel or something. Are you sure you trust your friend doing this??

i had the same problem when i installed the catback on my car.

the driver side piping wouldnt go over it the axle.

Congrats on it being done, like I said it cn be done, just takes a little patience

some disconnet above the rear axle. then you can bolt in the front part and then use the u-brackets above the axle to connect the rear part. thats how my friends 94 was.
