Magnaflow exhaust drone... would a resonator help?

Hey, just wondering if anybody knows a way to reduce exhaust drone with a magnaflow catback... Would welding in resonators of some sort be able to reduce the drone at 2-2500 rpm while keeping the tone and volume reasonably the same elsewhere? Is there any way to help the drone?

Do you mean magnaflow mufflers or mid-pipe? I have a magnaflow X and dynomax mufflers but no drone.

I have stock mid pipe and manifolds with just magnaflows welded in, it sounds great except for the resonance around 2-2.5k.

Holy cow that thread is a gold mine. Exactly what I was looking for and couldn't find. Time to try and kill the drone!
