Magnaflow question!!! Please help

I just got my magnaflow magnapacks. The company I ordered it from gave me the '96-'98 exhaust cat back system. They're saying it fits my '95 mustang ... Sound right to anyone? Cause it doesn't to me

there should be a 94-97 system, a 98 only system and 99-04 system

the tailpipe hangers on 94-97 run perpendicular to the tailpipe

the tailpipe hangers on 98's run parallel to the tailpipe

99-04 use the same tailpipe hangers as 98's, but have different style tips that are visually more pleasing for 99-04 rear bumpers

if the tailpipe hangers on your new catback dont match your old ones, you can easily get some new hangers from an autoparts store or muffler shop and swap them.

very easy to do

will those bolt in like the ones in there? I'm unfamiliar with hangers.

i would assume so. when i got my exhaust on my V6 i had to get passenger side hangers since my car came with a single exhaust. the hangers bolted right in no problem to the mounting holes that were already there.

im pretty sure the hangers mount the same way, just the direction that the hanger points is different

Yeah you guys are right I looked up the part.. It's part number 15677. It says 96-98 but it's good. I gotta convince the place that's doing it for me though they're all saying it doesn't fit and it's different. I told them I called magnaflow and they said it's fine the guy at the shop said well I trust my guy more than anyone your talking on the phone to. Lol must be a helluva guy haha

do it yourself cat backs are easy to do. If not give the number to magnaflow to the place thats doing it and have them call. 94-98 Mustangs all have the same exhaust set up to begin with.
