Seem to remember reading somewhere that there were sump clearance issues when fiting a mains girdle inside a '95 sump. Can anyone confirm this

I have a main girdle and had to switch to a Fox pan that is wider througout the mid section area. In addition, I had to break out the mallet to make a few adjusments. Otherwise, go with aftermarket pan.

Answering my own question to a certain extent........but then coming up with another.
Main clearancing problem arises with the oil pick up pipe which gets lowered by the thickness of the girdle. I have cut out a section of sump and fabricated another piece to weld in which will cure this problem, but with the engine on the stand and no sump on I can see the dipstick will hit one of the webs on the girdle. Anyone come across this and figured a way round it ?
