MASS AIR FLOW?

is there any way a mass air flow sensor could be bad and not throw a cel i cleaned mine yesterday cuz the cars just seemed it didnt have any acceleration i think it made it worse any opinion i would be really grateful....

try changing the fuel filter and check the plugs/wires. air filter these are all things that will make a engine starve

ok ill try that..as far as the tune up everything is up to date....well a header leak cause it to lose acceleration?

It could be a number of things really. I would go ahead and pull codes since it's free....there could still be codes logged even though the cel is not on.

most chain auto parts stores will do it for free these days. (autozone, advance, oriellys)

All the stores around here will only read OBDII, so i had to buy a code reader and do it myself.

a while back my car was running mad slow so i installed a new MAF and it felt like a totally new car. Never threw any codes, I didn't try cleaning it either tho.
