I need a new mass air flow so im thinking of upgrading while im at it... i want to get the bbk mass air flow but they have two options 24lbs and 30lbs.. My question is getting 30lbs too much for a fairly stock 5.0 or can i grow into them? Thanks

IMO you should be fine for a while with the #24s. Just remember that you have to upgrade your injectors as well.

You're gonna need a tune, I don't think your computer reads the difference

invest that money into a tune. your stock mass air unit is no where near maxed out with the mods you listed.

Correct. you will need a tune or a cobra computer(J4J1). Even with a cobra computer i would get a tune. The cobra computer will make it run ok, but not perfect.
