mass air sensor issue or vacume issue

i have 95 5.0 bone stock car minus 3;73 gears and a k&n air filter but when i go to try to start it it refuses to start it will turn over nd crank nd if u give it a little gas it will pop due to burning the fuel so i uplugged the mass air flow sensor(mafs) nd it will start but runs like junk as i knew it would but wen i plug it in it chokes the motor out nd dies well i replaced th mafs today and still having the same issue any ideas?

mine to i have no idea why its doing this it will start nd idle for as long as i want if the mafs is un hooked but like i said no sooner than u get it hooke back up it kills the car im at a loss

this car is one owner my grandpa nd sat for 4 years then i drove it home which is like 10 miles this thing only has 60 k on it but after i got it home we painted it nd stuff nd now this is wat its doing i replaced all the fuel sending stuff lke injectors lines pump filter i did it all nd its still doing it so thats how i came to think vacume i was doing research on it this morning at work nd found the dpf egr switch can cklog nd keep everything ide open so ill see if that fixes it if not i def need ideas

If you can get it to "idle", try checking the timing too.

Did you change spark plugs and wires if so make sure the fireing order is right and that there not touching the headers and grounding out it happened to me

ill check that stuff out hopefully i can get this thing goin soon my boss just gave me a 302 boss block that ima build with my spare money but i gotta have the car to get the money lol thanks uys
