hp/liter means nothing, i guess hp/wieght mean nothing too. yes most people think horsepower is everything, no its not. you need torque to get moving which they make too. there are alot of variables, but there are alot of fast imports down here. and im not talking ricer shit covered in stickers and goofy looking body kits.

i dont want you to get all out of shape, but i am willing to bet u do not make 322 hp unless u are just talking flywheel power, then maybe. and for another point there are quite a few 300 + fwhp hondas around where im at. which i would guarantee would blow the doors off of most on this site. even this weekend ive been driving my friends rsx type-s a-spec, which is a k20 motor with a 60-1, it makes 215fwhp per liter (430 fwhp/310 fwtq on dyno). its just funny that a lot of ppl on here are always like i own a mustang so its naturally faster due to the running horse in my grill or cobra emblem.

in a REAL race a mustang with 280whp will still beat it...... real race being on the track..... i've had 300+whp hondas, and they are still nothing to brag about at the strip. they have to be running slicks and set up for the track to get a descent ET... for instance 300whp honda barely breaks into the 12s with a good driver at 2400lbs, a mustang with the same HP will run mid 12s at 3400lbs...

from a roll, its useless to mess with a car that has better power/weight because driver error aside once traction isnt an issue the car with a better power/weight will always win, unless its a brick....

96svt - yea i was talkin BHP
i live in a college town. the per capita ratio of ricers is insane. i cant drive 3 blocks without seeing some dbag in a white tee and sideways red hat in his old beat-to-hell Shitvic blaring his crappy music out of his crappy subs sounding like a weed whacker, ridin with a fat chick, flick me off cuz im in a Mustang
so in general, u take however much power ricers claim they make, then divide it by 37 and thats about how much they really make
however, ur right. if that car is dyno proven at 430 hp they can probly walk me like a dog.

hahahaha. i hear ya. and yes it is, i personally saw it on the dyno. and it runs 11.5s (slicks) at the track with no weight reduction, still has the spare and jack in the car. if i ran any decent tire id waste him at the track, or run from a roll i should still take him but since im make 120 more hp he doesnt feel the need to see. but when i was na, his car walked me like i was in reverse. and its far from riced out, 100% stock looking except for exhaust and fmic, and there are like 5 others like his roaming around orlando. but there are a billion fart piped ones out ther so it is cool to know a lot of the guys that actually are import tuners than ricers.

only fast hondas are those w/ engine swaps and finding fast one of those are even hard to come by. The majority of the imports Ive seen at the track are slow POS turds and the ones that are somewhat fast are gutted to the point of not being streetable. No import will ever replace the experience of dropping a V8 down into third gear and breaking loose the drag radials from the pavement.

There is a guy here with a bone stock long block 302 (intake to oil pan) from a Mustang with nothing more than headers and cutom exhaust obviously.

It's an 97 RX7 and he runs 12.60's all day with it.
