that's really impressive! It's about time that the 4.6L's are being unlocked like it used to be back in the day for 5.0's

I agree, but like I said it`s only about a handful of people who are even interested in 2v`s anymore. So it will take alot longer for any results.

Yea, not so much, i can think of 5 cars that ran NMRA MM class last year that were outstanding one of which just dipped in to the 9's pretty solidly and should be a 9.60 car this year.... so 2v power is here to stay and with the indtroudction of the trick flow heads its gonna help alot of other ppl who dont want one off builds get in to the 2v world

I think you misunderstood me. What I meant was it seems as though manufacturers don`t have much interest. There aren`t many intake manifolds available, and the ungodly price they want for `em. Maybe it`s just me, Iv`e been a chevy guy for so long and those parts are so cheap and plentyful. I`m new to the Ford world, but I don`t think the pricing is very balanced.

well the 2v intake manifolds, for na applications you cant beat the weight/flow/price of a pi compaired to a p51 or something of that sort. If your going blower then the only way you can do that and get away with any money in your pocket left and still have reasonable weight on top of your motor is a p51. I love that manifold but personally will never need one.

Yup agree with Duff, the Stock PI Intake is really good and improving on it is tough to do. I'd like to see a better composite version done like they did for the 3V. More flow without more weight.

The 5.0's and Chevy small blocks were/have been in production for 20+ years so R&D was bound to happen over time. If all we had was 2V 4.6's i'm sure the aftermarket would have been better by now but since the 2V has already been out of the Mustang for 5 years its got to be guys like Nick who bring us forward.

I agree, the stock PI is good. I was using intakes as an example, should have have stated that lol. And that was my point exactly, guys like Nick are the ones who are trying to pull more out these mod motors, big manufacturers could care less, if they don`t see dollar signs they won`t bother. And yes I know SB Chevy`s and 5.0 Fords have been around a long time, but have you ever noticed the price difference? Chevy parts are always cheaper. Maybe that`s why I came over to the Ford side, quality costs money. lol Sorry, starting to rant. Sick of fixin` chevy`s LMAO
