I was finally able to get my mustang tuned and running. It is limited to 400 hp because there is not enough fuel upwards from 4000 rpm. I have an additional "piggy back" fuel pump installed which came with the procharger supercharger kit, but it is inadequate.

I want to replace the stock pump and this additional pump with solid single pump. Can someone suggest a good pump to buy ? Once I have enough fuel, the car should have about 550 hp.

I'd do the twin walbro GSL392's. I supported 470 rwhp with just ONE of those pumps. In parallel they are rated to around 800.

They are QUIET and deadly reliable.

I ran mine with a Glenn's sleeper tank, but some people even use them with the in-tank pickup

This is an in-line pump ? Correct ?

There is also an in-tank version (GSS340). Which one is best?
The car has a procharger and a 340 hp crate engine with 42 lb injectors. It currently dynoed at 400 hp and 600 torque with the fuel cutting off at around 4000 rpm.

Will the in-tank pump be enough once the car is running at its full potential ? I noticed that both pumps are rated at 255

odd, i made 560 rwhp with a regular 255 lph and a t-rex

currently i run two pierburgs which are inline style pumps, they are dead quiet and are good for 1000+

Pierburgs? Not familiar with them. Got a link?

i don't have a link other then i can tell you where to buy them. cartech sells a current equivalent to what i have (part # 72165962). they are used on a a lot of turbo / supercharged german cars. i run two in parallel which is supposed to be good to 1200 hp.

How about BBK 255 lph intank fuel pump replacement kits. Have you heard anything good or bad about BBK pumps?

I'm running a 255 in tank and another inline 255 (gsl392) with 60lb injectors and I'm at 600rw

edit: I also rewired my in tank pump to ensure 14v.
