After installing my black MM adjustable CC plates last year I decided to do something different this year and get rid of the blue stuff in my engine bay, intake couplings, radiator hose couplings, plug wires, dist. cap. I also pulled off some of the chrome covers and caps I had. I kept some pieces, CAI, firewall cover, fuse box cover & strut tower brace. I then tuned it up, cleaned the TB & MAF bumped the timing to 12 degrees (which, for my car, had it running the best) and I replaced the cap & wires with black MSD products. I wanted to replace the blue CAI couplings with black versions. I found some black intake couplings and upper radiator hose couplings from www.siliconeintakes.comhttp://http://. Really fast shipping. I would highly recommend them.

I think it looks better...for now, LOL

Looks nice. How hot does your engine bay get with all that chrome?
No problems at all. It runs real cool. On my idiot gage, it never gets above the "R", even in the summer.

Thanks.
My only gripe is that the MSD Street Fire wires are a lot shorter than the FRPP wires I had and they don't wrap around the valve covers like the FRPPs. They run over the valve cover. No biggie I guess.

I ordered it through BBK a long time ago. Its made by Gripp. I notice that the new ones shown on their site don't have the triangular gussets welded in where the 2 bars meet and attach to the strut towers now.

Actually, it's pretty easy to maintain after it's all cleaned up.
