As the title said, I finally ordered my all around coil-overs today from MM. I'm super excited. Right now i'm on stock blown struts/shocks with Eibach sportlines in front and stocker springs in back. Needless to say.... it's unpredictable and uncomfortable. I'll be sure to install the coil-overs this weekend and write a review, and possibly make a write up. Yay.

SWEET! How low are you gonna go?

Lol, should have known you would ask that. Probably not real low for now since i'm running side exhaust that scrapes everything. I mean EVERYTHING. At this point i'm just trying to make it handle real good before I worry too much about the looks. I'll probably be around a 1.5" drop with a bit of rake to it so the exhaust is higher in the back.

That's a bit low, but I'll let you figure that one out on your own.

Well, I went with 325 in front, and 200 in the back(because that's what they emailed me to get) but I got a call back saying I should probably get stiffer/shorter springs in the back. I'm going to call them back in the morning and see what's up. I thought 200 was soft, but that's what they told me over email. I'm already impressed by their customer service though!

Nice! Handling > Ride height

I actually found the H&R Race spring is very good handling, even though it is not as low. I like a nice slammed driver, but optimal handling is not always low.

That's true, but there are fixes for it too. yes the race springs dont lower the car as much but they're also stiffer as well.

My same exact experience. Super Race is even better in my opinion, and it's not as stiff as people make it out to be.

I got Race Springs with 04 Cobra Bilsteins on my car as well. Love the ride, and no scraping. To this day people get in my car and say its the best handling vert mustang theyve ever been in.

its super stiff to those that dont have them, have never tried them or are too cheap to buy decent dampers to pair with them.

I LOVE my race springs in my vert.

To the O.P. prepare to fall in love with your car all over again.

Bit of a change in plans. After talking to the guys at MM and doing some thinking, i've decided to go 400/275 on MM2 Struts/Shocks. I know a lot of people are going to tell me that's really firm, but I think it's going to work well for me. I'm kind of weird and like a bit of what most people would consider a rough ride. It should handle very nice too.

For a car as heavy as ours, you need a stiff spring. There is no getting around it. Otherwise you transfer too much weight and overwork out outside tires. You will need a serious tire to go with spring that stiff though, don't forget that.
