mods. need help.

so i went to the auto salvage yard. i needed a center cap.
and i asked the guy about rear ends and engines.
ive got the nasty 7.5 rear end right now. hes got a 8.8 with a 3.27 gear out of a 94 stang for 450. a 97 corba rear end with a 373 for 750.
or the whole cobra engine/trans/rear end/ computer, harness, pump everything. the whole drivetrain for 3500.

im thinking just the cobra rear end for now though. what you guys think?

I think thats way too much for those parts. I've never paid more than $150 - $200 for a whole rear axle complete. There's one for sale around here 3.27 8.8" for $150.

Fixed.. I could maybe understand $400 for a cobra rear end (upgraded brakes) but $450 for a regular 8.8...
gees for that I'll ship you a GT 8.8 with 3.73...
