Call it a day after that. trust me, if you're stripping the short block down anyway like I did, might as well go forged. Hell if cams are too much just wait on those too. Cams are easy to swap out, internals... not so much. If you know how to do a little port work, might as well work the heads a little bit too.
but then to do the work properly, you'll need quite a few gaskets which nickel and dime you (head changing kit was $139 alone last I looked), arp head studs, and about $1000 worth of machine work - overbore, torque plate line hone, balance crank, hot tank, valve job, etc. unless you plan on ordering stock bore pistons and just dropping it all in and hoping it works.
