The Mustang motor is finally almost to the point where I am happy with it. I bought the car with ~60K miles and while it was taken care of the motor was all OEM right down to the paper air filter and needed some cleaning and dress up.

I finished the intake and painted alternator awhile back but the car has just been running so good that I was afraid to open the hood and risk breaking something out of clumsiness or stupidity. Finally yesterday I realized I was being an idiot and just went ahead and installed them.

Painted the alt and CAI with the same paints I used on the PI intake and other pieces. I also went back to the OEM IAC since the CAI tube already had a fitting for it, just rerouted it a bit so it doesn't look as ugly as the OEM setup.

The paint on the CAI tube didn't come out exactly as I wanted but it was close enough to where I can't justify ripping it off, stripping it down and starting over again.

Next job is to clean the engine bay where the OEM air filter housing was.

Looks great!

One question? Where did you get the tube that goes from the t/b to the maf housing?
I'd like to get my hands on one of those.

The alternator paint is reall cool too... My car is exactly the same color as yours(faded laser red lol) so looking at these pics is like previewing everything on my car haha.

My latest debate is the radiator hose, I was planning to go with a chromed SS model, now I am thinking it may stick out too much and I should look into a black one

I know they have red also but that would be way too much of an eyesore to me

^ I got the Goodyear Blue Silicone hose kit for mine... they don't really clash with the red under the hood... They look pretty cool actually.

I'll post up some pics to give you an idea.
