The Mustang motor is finally almost to the point where I am happy with it. I bought the car with ~60K miles and while it was taken care of the motor was all OEM right down to the paper air filter and needed some cleaning and dress up.
I finished the intake and painted alternator awhile back but the car has just been running so good that I was afraid to open the hood and risk breaking something out of clumsiness or stupidity. Finally yesterday I realized I was being an idiot and just went ahead and installed them.
Painted the alt and CAI with the same paints I used on the PI intake and other pieces. I also went back to the OEM IAC since the CAI tube already had a fitting for it, just rerouted it a bit so it doesn't look as ugly as the OEM setup.
The paint on the CAI tube didn't come out exactly as I wanted but it was close enough to where I can't justify ripping it off, stripping it down and starting over again.
Next job is to clean the engine bay where the OEM air filter housing was.
