had it mistakenly in the v6 section.

anyone know of a better than stock replacement fan for the 96. I don't want to change radiators to move up to the 97 fan, so looking for an aftermarket that flows more and easily bolts up to the stock style setup. thanx for any suggestions.

already suggested is the Lincoln Mark 8 fan. not sure what year yet.

I got ahold of a buddy from phoenix earlier who previously had overheating issues. He recommended the mark 8 fan as its like 5k cfm. But its thick so depending on engine/radiator they dont fit. I would imagine thats more of a fox/5.0 issue as they dont have much room in front of their engine. He said the svt contour dual fan is another good option. Flows less but is dual fans with a slimmer profile.

thanx for the info!! seems that the mark 8 fan is a variable speed fan. that means that it is possible that the mustang cpu won't be able to tell it to do that, thus the fan would have to be wired possibly as a one speed fan.
