He must not be making that much power to keep that rear planted. But he did do well, when I first saw the title and then saw him lock up the front wheel on the 1 set of corners, I for some dumb reason instantly thought it was FWD?? :confused1:

Nice. I need to get a camera so I can take some in car vid of the racetrack. High plains should be the next one. AutoX is fun too, but I fail at finding the events anymore.

Nice video's. They have these at the old abandoned air base up the road from me all the time.

I'm too retarded to drive the "cone" tracks. I'd end up driving across lanes and whatnot lol. Their building an autoX track slightly north of me but have yet to see any news of it. Then i'll take mine on one.

Haha. I still get lost from time to time on new tracks. I used to be pretty bad about it. The track you see in the vids is the same track we have been running all year, with little changes in certain spots. We use a old air base from WWII also. Traction is really good on that pad.

He's making a little over 300/300 to the rear wheels. The driving, irs, and sticky tires are the biggest factors here, not a lack of power.

Yeah. I ignored that uninformed comment.

Big sticky tires make a GIANT difference when performance driving. night and day, almost.

Yeah. I ignored that uninformed comment.

I'll bet the fastest slalom cars are Minis, Miatas, and an occasional Lotus...

I'd be willing to bet it is close. Now there is a pretty beastly Miata on slicks that runs close times to mine, but its pretty dang modified.

The fastest car here for SCCA autoX is a SVT Focus. no engine mods, all chassis mods, and stickies.
