I am looking at a set that look just like yours but thet are from an 05. I was hoping they would mount right up. I already have some spacers on the back of my car for the rims I am running right now. I worry that the front will rub.

Yeah, I'm not sure if they'll fit or not...

The bullitt wheels are EASY to find, I recommend buying them only if they have newer tires on them. You can find them cheaper with bald tires (obviously), but in the long run it's MUCH cheaper to get them with good tires...

Traded my uncle my stock v6 wheels for a 8.8" with 3:73's. It was out of a fox, so I'll have to swap over my axles, brakes, and???? but I'm extremely happy with the deal.

Going to wait to do the swap until I find some lowering springs and a aerostar alum. driveshaft!

Wait a minute, all I need is a 8.8 out of a fox and I can swap my axles and brakes out of my 7.5 into it!??!!?!?

Yes, all your 7.5 gear will fit into a Fox 8.8. Try and find one that someone has overhauled with some gears already. They are on craigs out here from 100-300 bucks all the time.

edit: It needs to have 28 spline axles/diff, then it will all work. If it was upgraded to 31 spline, it will still work, you will just need some 31 spline 5lug axles. All brake bracketry bolts right up, along with lines, etc.

I think I'm going to wait until I have all the performance parts that I want, then toss them all on at once...

Here's the plan:

4.2 long block (have), ported heads, ported intake (windstar), cam, 65mm tb, underdrive pulley, upgraded injectors, tune? 100 shot?

Stock manifolds, catted h-pipe, flowmaster catback (have)

Aerostar alum driveshaft, 8.8 with 3:73's (have)

PBR Brakes

bullitt springs, new shocks and struts (just budget kybs)

Mach 1 chin spoiler, cowl hood, fresh redfire paint...

They're new edge wheels so they bolted right on. I believe (and somebody correct me if I'm wrong) that the 05+ wheels need spacers???

Yeah you need spacers, the offset is different so they get sucked way in.. i looked at a new edge with 06 gt wheels on it and it looked funny..

Basically my build, but I'd throw a cam in there.

I'd also skip the windstar, I did it, but I think it's more for looks. For the ease of stock I'd put a ported split port intake on it.

The windstar intake sits lower than the f150 intake...

Still might use the f150 intake, if I do I'm going to polish it to make it look all pretty...

A few updates:

Put in a new clutck kit, replaced the clutch fork, and had the flywheel turned, and installed a new rear main seal.

I also changed the water pump while it was in shop (my uncles shop - he let's me use a bay.)

Also, I searched the truck and found a keyless entry module, so I ordered a new remote. That came in yesterday, so I got it programmed last night.. One of my favorite *mods*.

Oh, and I ordered some clear turn signal lenses off ebay for 7 bucks shipped! Should be here today! I'm going to clean up the stock headlights and install the turn signals this weekend.

I have a full detail planned for this weekend.
