My 98 vs. 02 GT

So the weather was nice today (as nice as it can be in Michigan on Nov.) so I decided to take the Mustang up to the store. I'm pulling out of the store and an 02 GT gets in front of me at the light. The light turns green and he gets on it and so do I. For some reason I knew he was going to. Anyway I reel him in at the end of 1st and pass him as I'm hitting 2nd. I slow down and let him catch up....We do about 3 or 4 rolls from 40-50mph and each time I pulled away and kept pulling away. Eventually I pulled into a gas station and he pulled up beside me. It was an old guy (50-55) and his wife. I asked what he had done to it and he said "i put new tailpipes on it". I'm assuming he meant a catback cause that didn't sound nothing like a factory exhaust. I could see that it had Bullitt wheels and could tell that it was a manual.
Just thought I would share the adrenaline rush :dancing6:

yea..but read his sig. it says he has a 01 motor, UDP, O/r X pipe. So hes got the same motor + maybe 20 hp from mods. And probably a weight advantage.

Besides...we all know the guy he was racing was shifting at 4200

most likely. on one of the rolls he stayed next to me for a second or two.
