You use a high density paint roller from home depot and you roll it on instead of spraying it. Using a oil based enamel paint.

Yea srry had to take a break cause skool started agin so I had to drive it..I have 5 coats on and got about 5 to go but I got my sn95forums stickers so I put em on here ya go..nd I'll b doing a coat tonite b4 I go to bed

I wonder if anyone has rolled on a good few layers of clear, then wet sand it out to a good shine?

You guys should google "roller paint job"....there are plenty of threads out there with finished pics of each stage....

He'll be just fine after he wetsands it with 1500+ and buffs it out with some compound/polish.

For any naysayers, read this article from Hot Rod magazine. I read this about 2 or 3 years ago when the article was printed and I couldn't believe it. The idea is there are so many layers of paint that your just sanding out all the high spots to reveal one constant, smooth surface. Then polish it up and it looks nice and its very durable. Definitely a cool budget project as long as you are very patient.
