I'm probably going to start wearing earplugs especially for trips including highway travel.

+1 on the ear plugs. The only time I don't use mine is if I'm just riding around town.

Dainese makes great gear. Used their suits from the late '90s till 2 years ago when I switched to RS Taichi.
