Well this past fall we started installing my turbo kit. After a few drunken nites at the shop and several headaches i was able to drive my car the day after christmas. In know that my transmission was gonna be the weakest link I picked up a c4 from a jy. We put the c4 in and drove is for a day and that quit. Several months went by and my car just sat in the shop.
This past weekend I bought a built c4 from a buddy. Got the tranny, bradco converter, cooler, and b&m quarter stick shifter. My father and i put the tranny in last sat and i got to drive it once again. :dancing6: I love the feel if the shifter and the converter is gonna be perfect for what ill be running. There is still a lil work that needs to be done. I have 60# injectors, maf extender, and fuel pressure regulator to install. Then it will be dyno time. I have a 3# spring in it now and plan on running about 14-15 lbs of boost. Im hopin that i will give me between 375-400 to the wheels.

The motor was built by supersix motorsports: bored .03 over, forged pistons, rods, 218/224 .55 lift comp cam, stage 2+ heads, stage 3 intakes (single port), stainless steel valves. The turbo kit is a tma: Garrett PT61 .81 trim Turbo, Tial 38MM Wastegate with 3.8 psi spring installed, Precision bar air-air intercooler, Ford Lightning 90MM MAF (6 pin), walbro 255lph fuel pump. I also have a 8.8 rear end with tlok and 3.55 gears. Ive recently added a cobra front bumper as well.

The car is very dirty at this point in time. Its been sitting at the shop since Jan.

unfortunately yes! At the time tho i was also runnin 2 step colder plugs to protect from leaning too much. And there is only a 3.8lb spring in it right now. Im gonna try like hell to get it tuned tomorrow, on the 3.8 spring i have in it. So it doesnt just sit there. Ive been havin a spark issue last couple of times i drove it. So last nite i took the coil pak and wires from my dads 94 and dropped it into mine and the problem went away. With that problem being solved i really want to get a proper tune.
So if all goes well tomorrow on the dyno i should also have some timeslips too. We plan on goin to bowling green tomorrow evening.
When i took it up the road last nite, i had to make sure it was ok under load. So naturally i got on it a bit. It got silly in second :banana:

ohhh ok, i thought you had like a 10 or 12# spring in there haha, the only bad thing i can see happening on your car is fouling out your plugs and possibly hurting your rings, but other than that you should be ok :thumb: oh and get your kit coated! :banana:

Well after alot of scrambling around yesterday, we decided to run my car. Didnt get a chance to dyno before, but dad and i bumped up the fuel pressure to protect from runnin too lean.
Anyway i was very impressed with my car, runnin only 3psi and no tune. My first run i didnt really know what to expect and didnt load too much at the line an rattle off a [email protected]. It only got better from there
2. 14.07@ 100.46
3. 13.90 @ 100.83
4. 13.89@ 100.97
5.13.80@ 101.16
My last run was back up to a 14.0 cuz when i was boosting at the line my brake slipped a lil. I red lighted but didnt take off till i was up to rpms. My last run i trapped at a 101.60mph. So with a good tune i should be in the low 13's with only 3lbs of boost!!!!!!
Very happy with the results!!!

Thanks man! Id say not bad for not having a tune. I think im gonna got with 11lbs of boost for now and then up it in the future. Considering how well it performed this weekend.

i was running 18" street tires. They have a tread rating of 120 or 140, so they are a lil softer. We also brought the slicks just incase i needed them. Didnt spin out of the hole tho. I have to learn how to drive the car all over again. Im sure next time i will give the slicks a shot so i can load up more at the line.

How was getting the shifter to fit? I need to try and fit a B&M pro stick in my 95. Were you able to fit it under stock boot?

Very nice man. I'd be pretty damn happy with numbers, especially for how much boost you are running. Cant' wait to see what happens after you up the boost.

thanks man!!! Im hoping at 11psi i should have between 320 and 350 to the wheels. Ill leave it there for a while till the old man catches up! lol
As of right now i have the car apart again. I have removed the ps pump and need to fab up a bracket for the alt. I also have the interior out of the car and am removing ALL of the factory sound deadener. In addition im gonna use a 2 inch hole saw on some of the extra sheet metal. I need to lightener her up so she turns even better times.
