under the knee plate under the steering wheel. theres a little port. You can get to it but just opening the door and looking down there.

Alright so my Engine Code is: P0420 which is telling me the Catalytic is not working properly, which more than likely is because of yesterday when I was driving through the mall parking garage I bottomed out the exhaust on a speed bump. I don't think they failed because I know when they fail they cause an awful smell. So I'm just thinking its the sensors?

That means your converters are clogged (most of the time) just get an O/R H pipe

I highly doubt my cats are clogged, everything still operates perfectly, up until I hit that speed bump and bottomed out my cats on the speed bump. My brother told me its possible when I hit the speed bump the exhaust got pushed up towards the floorboard of the car and possibly caused the sensors to crack considering their so fragile. I need my cats, I am a Vehicle State Inspector and when the state comes by they check out my car to make sure the inspection was done correctly otherwise I lose my certification.

Went driving around today about 50miles and noticed my CEL turned off! I'm so happy, must have just knocked the sensor around and probably stopped working for the time being.<BR>Car ran like complete shit while that light was on though, it literally had to turn the key for 5seconds&nbsp;just for the car to start.
