yea, apparently the beetle needs the new pressure regulator cause the injectors are smaller :dontknow:

You dont Need a new diverter valve but the factory one will probably fail at some point...still, thee chip is teh best bang for the buck....no other mods will get you close to the power that the chip will.

was looking at a website with parts for them and i can get bigger audi tt injectors (386 cc) for 81.25 or the bosch 4bar fuel pressure regulator for 85.14. which would be the best you think, the bigger injectors or the fuel regulator. so i can have it for around 600 total with the apr stage 1 chip and either the injectors or the regulator.

I would call apr before buying it but they say to get the regulator on theyre site so I would go with the regulator

i had a buddy with a golf gti, 3 inch exhaust and a few other mods, decently quick, the down pipe was an ebay special and held up really well, other than that he made up his whole exhaust and he works for a euro tuning shop here in town, forget what its called but they're global

yeah all this talk about chips and stuff made me want it. i called euro technic, a local audi vw porsche bmw mini perfromance shop, and they said i didnt need a fuel pressure regulator or anything but the chip. they said i would of needed it if it was a older model. so i asked them when the could do it, they said today, so i just got back from them and they put in the apr stage 1 kit. its faster and the boost kicks in better. so 215 hp FTW.

Did they just give you the trial or you actually got it?
it should be a very noticable differance...especially when it gets cold out

I feel you...but that thing looks pretty sick with that color and rims.

If it was fucking yellow or lime green with flower power rims I would say get rid of it

thats funny cuz i wouldnt be caught dead in a npi gt. lol. and if you read a little further down from the top you would have realized that it wasnt my choice but due to circumstances thats what my parents gave me for a daily driver.

oh i forgot to mention that they offer a race gas tune that adds another 25 hp, they said they have specials on the extras that you can get and they told me to wait for one of their specials.

i would in a few if i could find a good one that isnt too expensive and sounds good but not too loud. also the cobra is dying for some headers so that will come first, but its getting a slight change so it should be at 600 wheel if not better in a week or 2 on factory manifolds lol
