My first 1/8 passes!

went to the track last night and ran my car for the first time since I have had it.(4 years) It was also the first time for me to run down a track. 1/8 mile

1st run:
2.2 60ft
ET 9.53 at
74mph

2nd
2.1 60ft
ET 9.41 at
75mph

3rd
2.2 60ft
ET 9.45 at
75mph

4th
2.2 60ft ET
9.39 at
75mph

I was hoping for some 9.5's and got some 9.4's and a 9.3. I did not think they were bad times considering this was my first time, and it is a convertible AODE car on street tires. I know I need to improve my 60ft times but it all comes with practice. Got any idea's what my ET would be with a 2.0 or 1.9 60ft?

BTW this was on a 181,000 mile stock heads, stock cam.

Do you have any 1/4 tracks around you or just the 1/8th? Not bad for your first time

The closest 1/4 is about an hour 1/2 away. But one 1/8 I go to is 10 min away.

stop wasting your time at the 1/8th go the 1/4. Closet 1/4 track to me is an hr and 20 mins and that does not stop me from going
