My first Detail

First off my car needs to be repainted bad. I am in the process of slowly fixing her up piece by piece. With that said this is the first time I have ever used a machine buffer and really any cutting compound.

Items used
Porter Cable 7424xp
Chemical guys #1 w/orange pad
CG Butter wax (going to move on. Loved the way it came off. But I hated the way it applied. Not sure if was that I was using a foam app or what but it didnt seem to want to apply evenly. I was doing this by hand.)
Mothers clay bar
CG citrus wash

About 5hrs. I did a bit bigger patches that I think I should have on the buffer, and was waxing while I was buffing different parts.

Which product did you apply last? I don't want to assume its the wax that's why I'm asking. Looks amazing. I've never used or have seen Chemical Guys stuff. Thanks-

I used the butter wax last. Im going to get something new later on. The paint still has a lot of work to go. I have one seat in. I need to get the other on in on my day off.

No, I haven't done shit. Im going to start job hunting just so I can have a life. The one day off a week just doesn't cut it.
