Hello, All!!! I had tons of questions about how my car was built on my intro thread, so I will post some about it.
Its a Low mileage(72K when I bought it 3 years ago) 94 Mustang GT in Performance white, with the red and black interior. The car was so stock it still had the boot around the distributor!! Someone had put aftermarket mufflers on, cutting the stockers off at the axle. they hung them with dog chain!!! ghetto!! it also had white corner markers. I never did like the "euro" side markers. I score the car the week after I got back to Hawaii from deployment. How the transaction occured is another thread.
so the car stayed stock for a while, then a friend of mine made me a killer deal on a Griggs racing front suspension, complete with Koni Yellows, 350# specific rate springs in front, 200# specific rate in back, and all delrin bushings in the front, and 98 Cobra sway bars front and back. I also installed the rear control arms at this time, they are Competition Engineering tubular lowers, boxed uppers and urethane bushings everywhere but the axle on the top. it now looked something like this. this pic shows the Saleen S351 hood that made it on the car just after the engine swap, so the pictures are not chonological.
I also had a 88 GT 5.0 project car, I was gonna use it for a drag car. well, I slid it into a curb, destroying the front end, and it never did drive straight after that. So, I parted it out, and used the engine block and rotating assembly for another project. I also got some goodies in the mail. they looked like this
Shortly after this, I had the car tuned, and the poor BFG KDWS all season tires couldnt keep up anymore. so I started to look around for wheels. A friend of mine told me about a set of Halibrand Cobra 3 wheels in 18X9 and 18X10 deep dish, and I had to have them. I then ordered a set of BFG KDW 2 tires.
the car now looks like this, with a few exeptions.
