Question is, are you keeping the ford across the front lip? I think if you did, but went with a more modern text, it would be slick as hell

As of right now, I won't be useing any of the original type badges or moldings. I am debating having some things air brushed on. If I was able to find the V289 emblem that goes on the front fender that has the V4.6 or V281, then I would be thinking more seriously about useing them.

I think you need to find a mix of classic and taste modern accents. Using a more modern text of F O R D across the hood along with the possibility of a v281 or v4.6 would work well. I can tell you right now, regardless of everything else you need the FORD across the hood, it would just fit it so well

that's a great look. Using a Ellenor type hood to mask the extra height of the Mach shaker is genius.

gotta love a shaker.
Actually it kinda is. It is a 1966 GT350 style fiberglass hood with the center section of a 2003 Mach1 hood fiberglassed in. The body shop guys did a great job making the 2 into 1. Big props to them.
