i love the t-bird. my dad had one a few years back, it was a teal 94. or whatever color they called it. it didnt have the ground effects or the wing though, which was cool, IMO i like em better without the kit, but they still look cool with the ground effects. i would have loved to put a cowl hood on the tbird. they look cool with those hoods.

Or stock to mild mustangs for that matter too. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE mustangs, but it is exciting
to put it to them in the bird.

Looks great except for that jygundo Saleen spoiler sitting on the trunk. It just looks so huge! kinmde reminds of that wing on a fox vert/coupe.

T-bird looks great other than that. Any suspension mods?

nice cars man. I can respect that tbird. I know how much money and effort it takes to make those things look good. I had a 90 thunderbird sc and a 94 sc that I put a 331 into. I did the 97 front end swap with a cowl hood. Although I never finished that car, the motor is still in my 95 GT. Mustang guys don't realize how easy they have it some times. Just figure that the price of everything is double the price for a tbird compared to a mustang. The only parts really that are interchangeable are the engine/tranny parts.

+10000

As far as suspension mods, I have descent shocks and struts, lowering springs, and a air bag kit installed inside of my rear springs and keep roughly 15lbs in them. They serve several purposes. They keep my car from rubbing on my back tires when I hit big bumps and they have eliminated my wheel hop....damn IRS cars LOL. And if I ever have to really load my trunk down, I can put more air in my bags to maintaine ride height. I have a schrader valve for each bag inside of the trunk.

you still get wheel hop with an auto? I never had wheel hop in my auto. The 5spd on the other hand did it ever. I took it to the track once ran a 14.5@94mph on stock tires. Next run I decided to launch it a little higher, bam and bang is all I heard then my car popped outta first because it was hoppin so bad. Def. a nice bird, one day I wanna build a sleeper mn12!

Yeah a bunch of t-bird guys have problems with wheel hop. But installing the air bags got rid of it because its pre-loading the suspension I guess.
