Can't wait to see your springs on :)

I myself also love the Tri Bars. I won't get rid of mine. I want to refinish them and widen them and use 2 of them as Drag Rims and throw on my Drag Radials on there i just picked up :)

I LOVE this car. The tri-bars are my favorite! I totally forgot about the little flames on the GT. I really dont notice it. I'll remove them when I figure out a paint scheme for it. The exhaust is already done. I have the BBK shorties ceramic coated, 2 1/2" X pipe, Flowmaster 40 series mufflers and 2 1/2" tips. I also run the BBK CAI and put a MSD blaster coil on it. Now I'm so ready for the drop springs. I'm thinking no isolators to get the max drop. Its the best Mustang I've owned. Verts are the way to go. I love looking up and seeing the clouds or stars! I've taken quite a few trips in it and with the top down I could drive 14-15 hour easy. Okay enough doting on my car. Glad you guys like it! Even if you dont like my flames, lol! Win Norfolk isn't that far from Richmond, we aught to hang out some time! There's a shop here where some real power pony cars are. Jaw dropping! I get parts from the owner sometimes. Real nice guy!

Nice looking 5.0. Congrats, they are a lot of fun.

Any of you tribar lovers interested in buying a set? I think I'm getting close to getting my dream wheels and will happily sell these to offset the cost.

If you like the flames, LEAVE THEM! That car is to make no one happy but yourself. That's the bond we all share here.

Nice car

Thanks guys! This is Mustang number 5. Previously I have had all fox bodies. Had to have the 5.0L. I had a mod motor in a t'bird and it was nice. But its not a 302. My choice, you know. I'm going to have some new pics up soon when I do the drop. Also will show off my new clear corners. I feel like I could do something with the tri-bars to "wake them up". But I dont know what yet. I also am going to get wheel spacers and widen my stance.

Paint the tri-bar part of the wheels white. That would look sweet.

I painted mine black, and I think it gave it a pretty cool look, but I had a blacked out theme going on to begin with.

I was thinking of painting them white. But I want to Chrome the lip. I plan on doing a orange and blue paint scheme over the white. Something kind of tribal'ish. I'm not there with the final design though.

If you don't need metallic, candy or anything fancy like that, you might look at going w/ vinyl wrap (like they do on fleet vehicles). There's a cool article on it in the current HotRod (the one w/ the flamed white impala 'vert on the cover).

I had thought of vinyls. But I need to do some paint work anyways and painted looks much better in the long run IMO. So I can't wait to get to painting it. Its gonna be nice!
