^ thats how I am too. I couldnt imagine having a quick car on nitrous, but without it having a 200rwhp beast haha

yea, that would be gay...

I guess if you go to the track a lot then nitrous is cool...but I go to the track like once a year so I would much rather have my power on the street everyday

I agree, but my car runs 13 flat@ 106 right now and is a blast to drive.
so every once in awhile I hit the switch for a little more fun.
I had a 100 shot on a 2001 vert gt auto and was only fun on the sauce, so I know what your saying.
the thing I liked about it is that you don't get used to it. The bottle is like a treat, were as most of my friends
get power than 2 months later want more (were never happy) lol. so I dont know we'll see.

thats the stupidest thing I ever heard since there is tons of supercharged cars that run faster than no2 cars....I know for a fact that my supercharged GT will put a hurting on any no2 2v mustang ive ever seen

Install the nitrous so no one can see it... race some peeps and leave them scratchin their heads... thatd be tits IMO.

well if theyre not idiots they will assume its nitrous...

I mean, if I race a 4.6 2v and its able to run faster than like 13.0s/high 12 I would pretty much assum there is a power adder there.

Yeah you have a point.But whats really gay is when you get used to that 6000 dollar turbo kit or that 3500 dollar blower, and your bored, and your still not done paying it off.

I dunno about that...I have yet to get bored of my blower...besides, if you shop right you can piece together a vortech kit with entire fuel system, just used head unit for like 2k.

its basically like having a constant 150 shot when I get on it

Why buy a kit you cant pay for in the first place?

my car is a street car DD, I wouldnt have nitrous on it because I would never use it.

I'm all about bang for the buck. I would love to have a blower too, but its a lot of money. 2k is still almost 4 times what I spent on my nitrous system. Which leaves you with a bunch of money for a set of heads if you started with nitrous. For less money you could have a 450 rwhp nitrous fed 302. To each his own though.

Also I dont like the "if you shop around" argument. Because people "piece together" turbo systems all the time, but those are gifted hot rodders, most people are knowledgeable to do it, and most look like shit when your done anyway. Most turbo systems are at over 4500 at least, BandG being the exception and even then its a tuner kit, by the time you add fuel, spark, exhaust, and tuning your over 4 thousand. Also, why would you wanna spend thousands on peoples junk they don't want anymore?

All you would be buying used is the head unit...you can buy the entire kit/ fuel system, new.

They sell the kit on supercharges online for a little over 1k for vortech...all you would need is a head unit.


That bang for the buck starts to even out after running nitrous for a little...that shit is expensive.

There is no shopping around.....its buy entire vortech kit off superchargers for less, buy injectors, fuel pump, and maf from buyfordracing and find a head unit off ebay
