There is a coolant tube in there. Pull the alternator and take more pics

I wonder if your intake cracked. Even the upgraded non plastic crossover versions have been known to split.

I am betting your intake cracked right behind the alternator like all the 96-98's. Just get new one from AmericanMuscle.com, Latemodelrestoration.com, or Rockauto.com stay away from Dorman.

Either the coolant tube from the water pump to the heater core or your intake itself. It will be pretty evident once you take it apart

My buddy cracked the intake on his car, in almost the same spot that would be my guess as well.
