I have been a little rebellious in making a build thread because I was slightly secretive with my plans, but I feel like my sn95 buddies are worthy of the information at hand. First off, I had this car for seven years and counting. I'm praying that it lasts for many more years! As some of you guys know I recently got my hood painted. I am very happy about that and I'm getting compliments every where I go. Now I need wheels, but I am performance guy at heart so wheels can wait :p. Some of you saying, why call it Project - ALL IN, reason is i'm not leaving anything on the table and going hard on every mod I put on so I wont second guess be like, "should I should of bought a better part"? *Rubs hands together* NOW!!!! Here is some plans on my build. I am going to take snap shots of the parts I have currently piling up on my porch haha. The car is being converted into a genuine 6-speed. It's no ordinary T56, its a T56 magnum yeah thats right 700hp rated transmission strapped behind my barely 200rwhp non-pi long block. Reason? Twin screw power is in my blood. Why? 4-5years ago my buddy had 600hp terminator coupe which I called the black Knight. One of the first I know to have one in North Jersey, and he was mopping up the streets for a long time. He eventually had to get rid of it because it was becoming a burden on his fiances. Where is this leading too you ask? I always was terminator fan since reading the first issue of MM&FF in high school biology class seeing 03/04 mystic on the front page. Fast forward, my buddy got one and I was super excited and we beat 80-90% of the cars on the road it was fun, I was in the passenger seat. Now, I can't afford terminator right now, and I feel strong about my 2v platform so its going to be terminator inspired. Built T56, KB strapped to a worked 2V that flows some serious air. Ok, I think I'm done for now. Here is a list of parts and a few pictures...

Some guy in TN owns, and it now has 660hp and still beats a lot of cars. It has the legendary 2.2L KB.

if u really want to be termi inspired power i would say do a 5.4 if u wanna reach the power they make JMO

I want to stay true to the cars true displacement, but I understand where your coming from. Just going to make sure the shortblock can handle a lot on top of a bunch of boost.

I want to go with a KB 2.6L but I dont know if its going to clear the saleen hood :(

The 2.6 wont fit the saleen hood. I believe the 2.1 only clears stock hood.

Thats kinda why i got the 2.1 cause i didnt wanna change my stock hood.

i love that style hood...i act think i like it better than a cowl hood...

Me too. It looks the best on dark colored cars because you can see the heat extractors from far away.

2.2 that's justa baby blower

Legendary blower, even though the displacement was baby. Didn't take much to spin the blower, and it screamed like a banshee.

:( Yeah, my goal one day is to have 600-700hp car, but I dont know if the 2.1L can get there. I heard and read that it efficiently makes power between the 12-15psi range? I dont know if this is for sure. What I think I might do is find a way to drop the engine a tad lower to clear the hood.

Did some headlight restoration these past 3 days. I put about 3-5hrs of wetsanding in each headlight. After I got my Saleen hood painted my headlights looked like poo, they had the usual aftermarket clear coat flake with some baby scratches where the clearcoat flaked off. I tried my best to restore the headlights because I made them a few years ago before projector swaps started getting really popular.

What I did was buy 400, and 600 grit 3m sanding paper from home depot along with gloves, Helmans spar urethane gloss and mineral spirits. I had meguiars 800, 1000, and 2000 super fine sand paper here already so I went along use all those stages to get the lens back to optical clarity. It was a good learning lesson on how to sand properly because I put marks in them and had to redo it again until I was satisfied with it. I wet-sanded everything... Here is some pictures:

Oh yeah I polished them out with m105, and used Sonus LSP then mixed the helmans spar urethane and mineral spirts to 50/50 mix like I read on all over the internet.

THREAD YOU ARE SUMMONED, AWAKE O' SLEEPER THE TIME HAS COME!!!! It's time to revive this thread!

Ok guys, I am going to be more diligent informing you what direction I go with the car. Now that I am married and been out of college for two years it is time to start documenting the changes on my car. I apologize for slacking over the years and not documenting the wheel changes, and suspension changes I have done so it will be time to catch up. Here we go (Mario's voice from N64) lol.

I still have all the parts in my parts bin except for the transmission. Right now I am in favor of keeping the 4R70W because I have a 2002 GT 5-speed vert that I can have fun with on street. My direction on this car has changed but I am still "ALL IN" because I want the car to exceed the level that its been at for the past 11 years in my hands.

What ever happened with the t56 swap?
