Need a new steering rack

So I found out that my steering rack has been leaking all winter =/ which means that its time to get a replacement. What are good brands to look for that won't break my bank? I don't auto cross so a super high performance one isn't necessary. Thanks inadvance guys!

I got my 2003 Cobra steering rack off ebay.

How much did that end up running you? Is a cobra one any better than stock?

03 Cobra rack is supposed to be Valved stiffer and have a better feel. I bought mine for $125. Had 12,000 Miles on it. Was very clean when i got it.

I also installed Poly rack bushings at the same time.

So I found a deal for an 04 steering rack and pinion and steering shaft. Is the steering shaft on 04 cobra's any different than stock ones???

They are not the same. 02-04 GTs and Mach I share the same rack, V6 has their own rack, and Cobra has the one with the least assist for sportier feel. I actually posted dot-matrix codes on how you can differentiate the racks from each other earlier on, you can search for that if you'd like.

I've heard/read the same thing. I think I paid $100 for mine new.
