Totally agree, I love my car. Just a huge pain in the a$$ to keep clean!

That tungsten grey from the 05+ cars looks pretty good on our body style too, plus its something you dont see that often.

there is only one car w. DSG paint on an sn95
and there are no pictures of it beause it isnt finished

There are pics of a gray SN95 that pop up every once in a while, i don't think its DGS though, seems too light.

i like DSG alot, very nice nice color to shoot as well. However are you willing to paint all the jams (this includes taking the doors off to reach the hinges) pulling the motor to paint the engine bay?

Nothing is worse than seeing an amazing paint job like DSG and you open the doors to see the red jams. I know you are wanting to get away from red, but maybe a different type of red would suffice? Maybe a torch red with a silver pearl mid coat? Just an idea. Make sure to keep is simple!

Are you sure your car is Rio Red, and not Laser Red. Laser red has metal flake in it, Rio red is solid, and looks better in my opinion. Keep it rio red if it's rio red. If it's laser red.... uh, paint it pink, or Baby Poop Orange.

A 2 tone black on a rio red color scheme would look extremely good, actually it would look better than most existing color schemes on the planet... Except Black by itself, which is the zenith of badass colors for cars.

Rio Red and Black, 2 of the best badass colors.... Laser red is not.

I was going to say the exact thing. Even the tiniest bit of a different color in a paint job looks like ass.

Stay with a nice rio red repaint and maybe do something a bit different. When I re-do mine, I'm going to have ghost flames put in.
