Need advice/ wheel spacers?

Im getting some spacers and i'm afraid 1" is to much. I think 3/4 is the way to go but I cant find any. I have 17/9 cobra rs with 274/40. Anyone have pics of there 1" setups? I jacked the car up and put a 1" block behind the wheel and it looked like a bit to much is why I ask. Id just like to see a couple pics to rest my mind.

Yes I agree, that look is what im after. However when I expiremented earlier in the garage it looked like they were out further that that. I'll have to take another look when I get a chance. I just dont want to order the wrong ones.

17x9 with 1.25 inch spacers. 245/45 tires.

I experimented again and have decided to go with 1". My garage floor being crappy and not level made the side I was testing on appear to be futher out. 1" is the way to go. Thanks guys your cars look great btw!
