Need help ASAP!!

ok well i jsut put cobra 1.7 roller rockers the explorer manifold and all that and now my car is making a weird sound. i cant tell where its comming from.

heres some pics and a video of what i did and what its doin? can you guys help me out and try to find out what it is.

did you spray carb cleaner around the intake gaskets (upper and lower?) to see if you have a leak?

if it revs up you have a leak

are the valves set right?

whats the timing set at?

ok i found out what it was. apparently the spacer i had was different then the explorer manifold so there was one port the was jsut straight open. so i plugged it up and now it sounds alot better but its hell of alot slower now for some odd reason.

oh and for some reason eventhoguh everythign is hooked up and everythign is full the low coolant light is on now.

Sounds like that things got a nice cam in it at least . I get a low coolant light too every now and then, but it goes off after 10 seconds, probably a faulty sensor...

Give your puter a chance to catch up with the changes. It's probubly runnin rich Mike. All that extra air and the puter wants to dump fuel in there. Can you smell it?

one of my buddies told me the opposite. he said i might need to get a bigger throttle body and injectors.

Stock injectors at a 90% duty cycle can handle almost 300 RWHP.

hmm. wonder if i have a vacuum leak or something. like the car idles nice but when i put it in gear and try to go it pretty much falls on its face and the car will go up in rpms but just feels alot slower then stock.

still having this problem. let the car sit for 15-20 minutes to let the computer adjust. drove ti around and still jsut falls on its face.

1st gear bogs and then slowly gains power from 1500rpm's to 2500 then falls flat. then all the other gears jsut have no power.

i do have a bigger MAF that my buddy gave me (not sure on the size but its bigger then stock).

my other buddy is content that its my throttle body.

i jsut want it to run batter then it does now.

i followed the instructions on this page the only thing different is i have a 1" spacer

It's surging badly, sounds like an unmetered air leak to me.

is you timing @ 0 tdc or 10btdc stock setting is 10btdc

that sounds like a loud exhaust leak but if you found the problem idk :dunno:

ok, spray carb cleaner around all the gasket areas and if it revs up you have a leak

if your timing is set at 0 tdc it is retarted and you need to get a timing gun and learn how to use it

i know how to use a timing gun jsut didnt have one at the moment.

ok my timing is at 0 on the TIME mark.

i just tried spraying carb cleaner all over the place in the engine bay and did not get any revs.
