it looks ok, but I've never heard of that brand.
Hard to say if it will put down enough amps, or how good the quality is.
you have a hood?

what are you looking to do w/ it? Cheaper welders tend to have a very low duty cycle so if you doing a lot of welding this can really get annoying.

Cheap welders generally are not worth spending the money on. All they do is make globs of snot, unless you are a very good welder.

As much as welders cost, I would not start off by wastign money on a cheap one. Just save up and do it right the first time. Might not sound good now, but it'll be better in the long run.

I would personally do a Campbell hausfield or a Lincoln Electric welder don't cheap out.... How thick is the steel you wanna weld ??? I have seen some Campbell Hausfield ones for i think about 100 bucks but they won't do anything thicker then a 1/8 steel.

try going to the local welding store/gas supplier. I just picked up a Hobart 140 with a big spool of flux core wire, regulator, blah blah for 400 bones. It was used for 3 days....I'm sure if you look on craigslist and such you would be able to find one. The one thing the guy at the store i went to said is beware of cheaper welders. In my case (110v) the guns and such were not replaceable so once you toasted the gun, the welder was gone.
