nope, it will be the only one that should show up with DCv on it so its not hard to find with a meter or test light but the light will not be real bright as normal.

Now I'm trying to remove the cassette deck. I do have the special tool. I insert it in and push it in until it does not go in any further. Once it is in, I pull it out toward me but the cassette player does not come out. Is there a special trick in getting the cassette player out?

When I fire the car up I can't hear the music from the speakers and goes into static sound and I can't hear the music. But I was told that a non-mach radio has built in amps into it. Is that true?

post a pic of the back of your radio.
If you look at the top pic, there are some grey/black male hrns's at the top. There should be some black female hrns's that plug into those to allow the front speakers to play.

What wires are the bostons in the back connected too? Is that the speaker wire they ran from the dash? Dig around under the rear deck and see if you can find two grey two pin plugs that would normally hook up to the factory tweets. They are actually clipped to the top of the rear deck so you might have to fish them out but try and locate them and see if anything is hooked up to them.

There is a pic of the back of the radio in post 11. Yes, the black and grey connectors behind the radio on the right side are connected. The wires on the boston are not connected to anything right now. Also the rear harness connector is not there. I will look and see if those two grey pin plugs are there..

getting a little confused. You know the factory radio will not play with out the stock amps(All 3 of them) and that the factory cd player was a slave unit meaning you needed to have the stock cassete deck to get it to work?

Yes, I know it will not play without the 3 amps. I'm missing the 2 rear amps but I do have the front amp and I do have very slight sound in the front. But it goes away when the car is running. I do not have the factory cd player, just the radio/tape deck.

I got your confused with another one wanting to put in a cd player. With out the rear amps you will never get the woofers to play and the tweets will only play high range.

I will be looking for the rear amps at the junk yard. Are all the rear amps the same from 95 to 2004? Are there any other ford or lincoln vehicles that use the same amps in the mustang?
