Im having a problem with my front brakes. They build up pressure but dont release it. car has rotors that are less than a year old and I replaced the pads a few wweks ago, the calipers seem to be fine. I have replaced the MC and the brake hoses with no luck. When first driving the car in the morning the brake pedal is very soft and goes down pretty far, while driving it starts to build pressure the more u use it. Eventually the pedal will be very hard and you can feel the brakes begin to drag, but the car still stops. Now I have found that if I crack the bleeder for the front brakes on the MC brake fluid will shoot out and relieve the pressure. the new MC is new, not a reman. It was installed by a shop that i have used for years. What could be the problem here?

is there excessive pressure in the hydroboost system causing excessive pressure being built in the mc and not releasing?

How do I tell if the booster is the problem? I thought if the booster was bad that the brakes act like manual brakes(not power brakes) and it takes alot of effort to push the pedal down? When the pressure builds the pedal gets stiff and does not push down more than a inch, maybe less but i dont need to push hard, just touch down on the pedal alittle and it applies the brakes. What kind of testing can I do to rule out the booster?

Did you just bleed the brakes or completely flush the system?
Brakes were bleed last about 2 months ago when I put new pads up front. Bleed all 4 and the MC. I found a bleeder on the booster, cracked that open and stepped on the brakes and fluid shot everywhere....is that normal?
