Need help With car running rich!!!pls

:rant: So i went ahead and replaced my fuel filter for some stupid reason and the car run way to rich now and interestingly enough the fuel pressure is set at the same psi no changes showing in my pressure gauge. the car now wants to stall and and idle surges everytime. I tried lowering the fuel pressure as much as possible but it is still running rich. My fuel mods are in my sig. another important fact is that my fuel pump now has changed in sound, yea instead of the regular electric humming sound they make now it makes a weird noise like an up and down sound wave and sometimes it goes away and it returns to the stock humming sound, what could this be? the car runs bad. should i bleed the fuel line for any air bubbles? replace pump, it's a walbro 255lph intank or could it be a bad filter? oh almost forgot, the car now hesitates at partial throttle and it is driving me nuts. please any help greatly appreciated thanks. :help2: :help2: :help2:

You should look into getting an adjustable fuel pressure regulator & guage. ALso I see you have 1 3/4 inch headers. Those primaries are a bit large for your setup, but shouldnt have anything to do with the engine running too rich. Good luck.

Well the pump stopped making the weird noise and it is back to normal, what happened was that i replaced my starter so i disconnected the battery and that is why the car was running crappy and hesitating a bit, after a couple of day i saw how the car managed to come back to stock settings i guess it had to relearn all the parameters again. car is running great now and yes i have an AEM adjustable regulator with a gauge. thanks to all that pitched in.
