Need help with Screwy H pipe

I have a Stock h-pipe that I am going ot put on my 88GT when I picked it up last night it sounds like there is a piece of solder or metal screw inside from the rear cat to a front cat. I shook the crap out of it to try and get it out but no luck. I tried to make it go down the connector pipe in the middle but no luck. My question is it stopped rattling but is it safeto put it on with it in or how can i get it out or should I take it out before putting it on?

Yup, what he said. It rattles around until it gets wedged in the collector then stops for awhile. Hit a few pot holes and it will rattle itself loose again.
