You are to young and inexpirienced of a driver for a 03/04 Cobra. Buy a 1992 Ford escort Wagon until you are 21. Then you can have a 03/04 Cobra.

You only have to work 5 months for a Termi and your b!tching about it??

I worked for 3 years to buy my Cobra, and every minute was worth it.

My parents were always bastards and didnt do anything of that nature so you could work your ass off and they could not even buy you a termie. Plus do they know how much insurance is going to go up? Or does that not matter since they're gonna help you pay for one. Are you going to be daily driving the termie or do you have a second car? I know winter isn't an issue but paying for gas, driving it to school in a parking lot with ignorant high school kid, think about it all.

I would have loved to have a termie as a first car but I see my buddy's who have nice cars as their early cars and it never turns out good.

sounds like someone needs to enter the real world (not mtv's)

sorry if that sounds harsh but in the real world things dont come free, hand outs like the one you just suggested are rare.

im 23, i've owned 13 cars and one truck. i paid for everyone of them besides the first car. and it was a $800 1981 honda accord hatch auto with the old cvcc style honda motor. if you add up the price on all 13 i paid for it wouldnt come close to what a termie costs. i also started working 40 hour weeks as a jr. in high school.

all im trying to say is if you get something thats way to nice for what sounds like very little work (not bashing your job) it will not be respected for what it truely is.

well the reason i hate my job is I'm a cna basically i get paid to help old People which translates to wiping old ass and giving old People showers which sucks i have been punched and spat at trown up on my hands but hell it gets me money now regarding being too young and inexperienced i have driven my uncles 03 cobra with upgrades i drove it like for a month when i was in Huston and raced it just about every day , also I've worked since i was 13 in construction till i was 16 once week after my birthday i was already working in a "normal" job

I say no go on the Termi, too young and the power is too tempting. It wasn't until I was around 22-23 when I realized that it wasn't very smart to be racing every person that pulled up next to me. I doubt you'll make it alive to that age with that car.

So you've driven a Termi and you raced it every day, THAT'S going to convince everyone that you're mature enough to own one lol.

im 21 and doing a termi swap. ive also gotten a street racing ticket ($2,000.00 12 point ticket) and still havent learned this lesson.

if you get a termi on your own dime. do it. if you are going to throw mommy and daddys money into the gutter when its wrapped around a tree, keep your current ride. Its a cool car with alot of potencial for fun.... .. save the terminator for when your old enough to drive it maturely, or are wasting your own money if you wreck it (im in the second catagory. lol!!!)

No it does not help. You are still 18 years old with little driving expirience. It actually proves my point by you saying you drove one and raced it everyday for a month. That tells me you were street racing and not racing on the track.

I am 46 years old and understand what power a 03/04 Cobra has. IMO it is irresponsable for a parent to allow a kid your age to own a car like that. You will wrap it around a tree.

Buy a 1992 Ford Escort Wagon and stay somewhat safe.

Enjoy you life and dont kill yourself for material stuff. You never know when your time is up and I am sure you dont want to spend it working like a dog for a car that depreciates every year. The longer you wait to get a cobra the cheaper it will be.
