Before you read on:
I know you 'get what you pay for'. I am in highschool and am pretty much throwing every penny, nickel, and dime I have at my car, budget is always tight, and while I don't like cheaping out on parts I DO NOT want to pay an arm and a leg for anything.
That being said.
I was looking at getting coil overs with shocks and struts from UPR. Now I have never dealt with UPR myself, and the total for the front and rear coil over kit, paired with their strange 10 way adjustable shocks and struts is about $710 EDIT: I ****ed up in doing math... Didn't multiply the shock and strut price by 2... actually total is $895.95

Now I was browsing American Muscle, looking at car parts I could never afford like usual, and saw that under their new products they added these beauties from SR Performance. These run for $749.99 ($704 w/ discount)

I was looking at it and it did not have anything listed under the 'in the box' tab, so I opened up a live chat window and talked to Phil F. From AM and he answered all my questions.
There is no cutting required unlike the UPR coil over kit where you would have to cut the dust shields, I would much rather not go cutting into that stuff so thats a +++
Shocks and struts are included in this coil over kit.
And while I had him I asked about the installation and with another set of hands and some hand tools (power tools making it easier of course) it was pretty easy to just do in the driveway.
So the pros of the SR performance coil overs from AM:
No cutting, simple bolt in
It's from AM, so customer service is amazing
They're affordable and the SR Performance brand is a pretty good brand
Cons:
There are none???
So for about $200 less, I have a 6% discount code for AM from being an AllFordMustangs forum member, which will take off about $45, making these cheaper than the UPR ones.
So I want your opinions, should I go with UPR? Are they a really good brand that I don't know about? Or should I go with SR Performance from AM and pretty much know I am going to be taken very well care of by the staff and am spending a bit less while also saving the hastle of cutting the dust shields.
And a question for Ferocious, how any inches is your drop? The SR Performance coil over state they lower your car in a range of 1"-3" from stock, and I have seen a TON of 1-2" dropped cars but haven't really seen a 3" dropped car. I would probably only go to 3" for large car shows, but even if I don't I am curious how low a 3" drop really is.
the5.ohh Look into these... I know a 1" drop is as low as you want to go but gives you the option to go lower without spending more on different springs...
