Well I have 235/50/18 on my wheels now but will have 245/45/18 when I have to replace these wheels so I shouldn't rub at 3" right?

I have 245/45/17 in the front and I never even came close to rubbing when I had about a 3" drop.

245/45-18 is a full inch taller than the stock tire so I think you'll probably run into issues with rubbing if you're dropped 3", i noticed a big difference going from 265/35 to 255/40 and 255/40 is only slightly taller than stock.

a bumpsteer kit adjusts the angle of the tie rod end in relation to the control arm to prevent the car from wondering left and right as the suspension raises and lowers over bumps.

Raceland's come with everything you need, and you shouldn't have to cut up the dust shields.

Refer to my OP for a link to the UPR coil over kit, new it's a little over $500... It all depends on the condition to tell if it's a good deal or not.
150lb sounds like it'd be a really soft spring...

150lb spring has to be a drag spring or something, I'm running 250lb springs and that's even considered on the softer side.

No, not all struts will work. You can call UPR and they will tell you which struts their kit is compatible with.
And 150lbs is a drag racing spring.

How about the spring size? Would a 10 inch spring get me lower than a 14 inch?

not really cause on the longer spring you just have to turn the collar down further to get the same height. what is the car going to be used for? if you're not drag racing I would go with a shorter spring than 14".

You will get less adjustability on a 14" spring than you would a 10".

I'm running 10" springs and have about 1.5" of adjustability left.

with 10" whats the min and max height? and ur running upr coils with strange struts right?

it's going to depend on the spring rate you choose

This ^

A 200# spring takes less force to compress than a 350# spring. It's pretty self-explanatory.
I would only recommend a 10" spring if you looking for a drop to kiss pavement with. If not, a 12" is perfectly fine.

And no, I do not like UPR. I am running a Strange coilover w/QA1 springs.

Well maybe I won't drop it the whole 3". But I'll figure it out when I get the coil overs.

Anyone have experience with these CC plates?

I also heard this thing called a bump steer kit, alot of people ho lower their cars do them, what exactly does it do?

If your bumpsteer kit is not adjusted properly you will wear out tires SO FAST....I had 2 shops adjust mine and tires still wore so I took the kit off. I would not get a bumpsteer kit unless you are doing auto cross or actually have bumpsteer issues.

SR kit is currently being tested and I myself may be having it put on a 94 KBed cobra..

To each their own and while you are doing this

^ that is ciotti.. Its in SNJ. Replace the shocks/struts/springs could just be a good enough way to go for a while man. Im sure he will come down a bit on them. I know the car these parts these came off of.. It was not beat on. At all.

Unless you are dead set on coilovers and brand new
