Couple issues with V at the moment guys.. Some of you know i'm preparing to swap for a 5spd within the end of the year. No big deal work load isn't the problem. I already have 4.10s and i do a large amount of driving on the interstate to get to school (i live on the opposite side of the city). Riding along, the windows down, even when its hot, the car sits on R/M.. on the temp gauge, i role up the windows and turn max ac on, and it immediately gets passed L and i can read NORMAL just fine. Makes me worry alot about it.. Run about 2500-2600 on the interstate.. and thats about 35 miles a day, not including from the interstate to the house. With it so hot it causes alot of trouble so hopefully when it cools down the car won't do it again.
Quick side note: I took out the billet grill and stuck the pony back in, so it's not that
Anywho, 5 speed swap. 4.10s are supposed to be teh win with a 5spd racing wise, which i'd be ready for it, but at the same time i'm thinking it'll be to much gear on the interstate, considering the rpm's i already run with an auto. Be a wise decision to swap to a 3.73 ring and pinion? Am I the only one that experiences over heating fairly quickly after turning on my ac? Just seems odd, the rpm's cant do it, considering it sits at R/M if i drive without AC and then i turn ac on the car about explodes..
:help2:
